Anytime I see a GSD … my eyes go first and automatically towards the legs and anatomy …
Then it’s the rest … the eye, ears, coat, movement, type, etc… I continue to train my eyes … and listen to and learn from those, who’s experience we value … And with our own dogs … the criticism is always even stricter and I always think - what is the King Of Zion German Shepherd going to look like 10 years from now … Are we serving the breed? Are we preserving the standard and the dog that it used to be/ is/ and as meant to be? I have not seen such a thing as “a perfect” dog. There is always something that is imperfect in regards to the perfection … Even perhaps the way tail is attached or the length of it … This post is from Luis Donald who’s post I have been enjoying … Cheers to serving the breed!
