WAITING LIST

To have the opportunity to welcome a King of Zion puppy from one of our upcoming litters, we recommend joining our waiting list early.

We do not breed simply to produce puppies. Each King of Zion litter is planned with purpose, with careful consideration given to pedigree, health, temperament, structure, working ability, and the future of our program. Because of that, we intentionally keep reservations limited and place great importance on finding the right home for every puppy.
Once your application has been reviewed and you have been pre-approved, a reservation fee confirms your place on the waiting list for your selected litter.
Our standard reservation fee is $1,000, with a $2,000 reservation fee for Diamond-level puppies. Reservation fees are non-refundable but may be transferred to another appropriate King of Zion litter, subject to our reservation policy.

To maintain a manageable and intentional placement process, we generally accept no more than three reservations per gender per litter. If the requested gender is not born or the requested litter is already at capacity, your reservation may be transferred to the next appropriate litter while maintaining your original reservation order.

The breeder also reserves the right to retain any puppy from any litter.

PICK SELECTION FEES

First Pick: Additional $500
Second Pick: Additional $300 when there are at least three puppies of the requested gender

Pick selections are based on the final evaluation and placement process described below.
The breeder also reserves the right to retain any puppy from any litter.

APPROVAL PROCESS

Our process begins with a conversation. We want to learn about your family, your lifestyle, your experience with German Shepherds, and what you hope to accomplish with your dog.
The process includes:

Initial phone conversation
Puppy Questionnaire / Application
Two personal references
Application review and pre-approval
Reservation fee

Families are considered in the order that reservation fees are received. However, reservation order does not mean that every family automatically receives the same pick position. Our goal is to make the right match between the individual puppy and the individual family. Final puppy placement is based on the puppy's temperament, personality, drive, development, and overall characteristics, together with the family's lifestyle, experience, goals, and preferences. Puppies are evaluated throughout their development, with final placement decisions generally made around seven weeks of age.

PLACEMENTS

Great homes are everything to us.
We take the placement of our puppies seriously because we are not simply placing a puppy—we are placing a member of our King of Zion family.
Our goal is to place the right puppy with the right family, where that dog can thrive for years to come. We take the time to understand each family's lifestyle, experience, expectations, and goals so that the placement is thoughtful rather than simply based on color, size, or appearance.
When your puppy goes home, our relationship does not end. We remain available to support you throughout the dog's life.
