~ ZABATA x LUIGI ~
Their Third Litter... and One We Couldn't Wait to Repeat! There is something incredibly special about welcoming a third litter from the same two dogs. We simply love this breeding.
Long before Luigi and Zabata became part of the King Of Zion family, their story was already being written in Germany. Like every truly great German Shepherd, they are the result of generations of passionate breeders, who devoted their lives to preserving the breed - not only its beauty, but its character, working ability, sound temperament, and purpose.
Zabata carries that legacy with elegance. As the daughter of the legendary VA Sastor vom Hühnegrab and descending from the world-renowned aus Wattenscheid family, she represents well respected maternal lines in the German Shepherd world. Her pedigree is filled with dogs admired for their breed type, movement, and remarkable character. As a young female she has proven herself on the working field earning IGP and breed survey and later on, she has proven herself in the show ring, being a class winner V1 coming in the show in front of highly rated competitor in the world championship. Last year, Zabata and Lucie worked together, placing the final working stamp of lifetime breed survey with terrific report. Zabata has been an amazing producer in our kennel and is has brought priceless value to King Of Zion.
Luigi's story is equally inspiring.
Bred by the respected vom Türkenkopf kennel, founded by Sieger Show judge attending this natina event in many countries all over the world including the World Championship in Germany. He descends from generations of dogs known for their sound nerves, athleticism, and willingness to work. Through Uri vom Türkenkopf and Emy v. Dan Alhedy's Hoeve, he carries a pedigree built with the same vision that has preserved the German Shepherd Dog for generations.
What make this boy very special - all his working titles from AD, BH-VT all the way to IGP1 and breed survey - he earned all with Lucie as his trainer. It was a journey full of obstacles and ending with incredible results. Beside this honorable success - while at King Of Zion - he became the National SG1 in 2024 and in 2025 he became the USCA Regional Vice-Champion/ Vice-Sieger V2. Along wiht his accomlishemtns he has been greatc part of our family and proven producer in our kennel. He is a treasure!
When these two remarkable bloodlines came together, we hoped they would complement one another. They exceeded every expectation. Their puppies consistently inherit the qualities we value most - health, temperament, beauty... balanced drives, clear mind, intelligence, confidence, and the kind of loving, loyal personalities that make German Shepherds unforgettable family members. Some breedings happen only once. Others prove themselves, so completely that they deserve to become part of a legacy. For us, Luigi and Zabata are one of those rare pairings.
As always, our goal is not simply to produce puppies. Our goal is to preserve and improve this incredible breed while honoring the generations of breeders whose dedication made dogs like Luigi and Zabata possible. We are incredibly grateful to continue their story and cannot wait to meet the next generation of this very special breeding.
We are expecting for this boy to be medium-large male as grown, super temperament, beautiful rich long coats and correct anatomy ...and mostly ... for them to be loving and protective family members.
